Conversation 1

Aimee: So Todd, are you good at sports?
Todd: I am pretty good at sports. I can play basketball and baseball, and I can run pretty fast, but I cannot jump that high.
Aimee: Can you play soccer?
Todd: No, I cannot play soccer well because I am not good at kicking the ball.

Conversation 2

Aimee: Can you sing well?
Todd: No, I can't sing at all. I have a terrible voice. My friend can sing very well though. She has a beautiful voice.
Aimee: Can you play an instrument?
Todd: No, I cannot play an instrument either. I have no talent in music.

Conversation 3

Todd: Are you good at cooking?
Aimee: I cannot cook very well. I can only make basic things. 
Todd: Oh, yeah, what can you cook?
Aimee: I can cook an omelet, and I can bake cookies. That is all I can do.
Todd: Yeah, I can't cook either. So are you good at computers? 
Aimee: I'm very good at computers. I can make websites and I can write software.
Todd: Ooh, can you fix an computer?
Aimee: I can fix an computer.
Todd: Great, can you fix my computer?
Aimee: I can try!

Todd: Are you good with cars?
Aimee: I'm pretty good with cars. I can fix them if they need repairs.
Todd: Yeah, what sort of things can you do?
Aimee: I can do lots of things like change the tire and and change the oil.
Todd: Ooh, that's great.

Woman: Sound good!
Man: First, what animal is tall?
Woman: Giraffes are tall.
Man: They are tall. What other animals are tall?
Woman: Horses are tall.
Man: And fast. Horses are fast!
Woman: Yes they are.
Man: So what animals are slow?
Woman: Turtles are slow.
Man: Yes, they are very slow.
Woman: A sloth is slow too.
Man: Yes, I think so.
Woman: What animals are big?
Man: Elephants are big.
Woman: Hippos are big too.
Man: Yes, and they are also heavy.
Woman: Yes, hippos are very heavy.
Man: Now, what animals are long?
Woman: Hmm, aligators are long.
Man: Yes, so are snakes.
Woman: Ew! Snakes. Yes, they are long.
Man: So shat animals are quick?
Woman: Well, a cat is very quick.
Man: Yes, and a mouse is quick too.
Woman: Right, mice are quick.
Man: So, what animals are cute?
Woman: Well, many animals are cute.
Man: For example?
Woman: Well, dogs are cute.
Man: Yes, and rabbits are cute too.
Woman: And penguins are cute.
Man: Yes, they are. You know, I think all animals are wonderful!
Woman: I agree! All animals are wonderful!

Man: Wow. He is very tall.

Woman: That is my husband. In this picture, he is at work.
Man: Is he a fireman?
Woman: Yes, he is. And this is my daughter
Man: Wow, she is so cute.

Woman: That is my older brother and younger sister.

Woman: My sister is a pilot. My brother is a farmer.

Woman: Well, I go to school. I teach students.

Man: I fix and sell bikes!

Woman: I eat with my friends. And you?
Man: I eat in the park.
Woman: That’s nice.

Man: I read about history.
